Our bedroom... Its messy now! LOL But you get the picture!

I will put up more pictures when we get our stuff and all that. This weekend when we come down to Midland we are going to get the stuff to hang on the walls, the microwave, stuff to make it more like a home. I want Mark to help me decorate some before he leaves!

Sandstone Spring

These are the pictures from a little spring that we came across called Sandstone Spring. As you can see it comes out of a little cave from the mountain! It was ice cold and clear just like the bigger one! AMAZING!!

This is the one room school house called Rolling Heath School. It was built in 1912 and held classes for 1-8 until 1941.
There is a little trail behind it that we hiked along!

Stone Mill Spring

These are the pictures from Stone Mill Spring! The waterfall you see is where the spring connects with the Big Piney River, which is the river that runs through base. :)

Exploring Fort Leonard Wood

Me standing on the edge of a cliff!!

The entrance to Millers Cave!

The tree growing out of the cave

The look out of the main room!

Mark, Me, Amanda and David

Well this past weekend we went around base with another couple, David and Amanda (David is in Mark's unit). We had a great time!! We went to Millers Cave, Stone Mill Spring, Sandstone Spring, hiked up a trail behind the old school house (which was built in 1914), plus many other trails. Basically we hiked all around Millers Cave and found little other caves, one of which we WENT IN!! Hiking is fun until you are hiking back up the mountain and then that can get pretty tiring!! I had never seen an actual spring before. IT WAS AMAZING!! To see the crystal clear waters and see it bubbling up from underground, is just awesome!! Sandstone Spring is just this little spring we just happened to see the sign for and when you hike up the little trail which isnt far you see it coming out of a cave! In both springs the water is ICE COLD!!

Hope you enjoy the pictures!
