Christmas....

Well I thought I would update our blog....
I am 13 weeks and a few days (haha) along. I am getting a little belly which I am so excited about. My first trimester was good! I had no morning sickness. I would just get really exhausted randomly and just have no energy. I am getting my energy back which is NICE!
Mark is doing really good! They have been told officially that they will be home BEFORE CHRISTMAS!! Which is AWESOME! I dont know the exact date yet which is fine I am just praying and crossing my fingers they really will be here. What a WONDERFUL Christmas that will be! He got online today and got to see my little belly for the first time! He was in SHOCK! He just couldnt believe it and was so excited. He just kept saying WOW! That was amazing to know how excited he was and how shocked. He said that just makes it real to him! He is getting the internet so I will get to see him and he will get to see more online. The internet will be in his room. I am excited about that!
Thats all I have for now! As the weeks come I will actually start to put pictures of me on here! :)

Back to Missouri

I flew back to Missouri yesterday and finally got home about 5:30pm! I was sooo happy to be home. The girls were soooo happy to see their mommy! Sassy met me at the door just meowing up a storm. They wouldnt leave me alone last night, they wanted me to just pet them, love on them, they watch every move I make. I was glad to see them too!
I talk to Mark about every day, he is doing good. Just doing his job to come back home! He has his good days and his bad just like everyone else. Just continue to keep him and his unit in your prayers!

Well I went to the doctor this morning for my 10-12 week check up. I am 11 weeks along, almost done with the first trimester and other than being tired I cant complain. I never got sick which I am totally thankful for. I have gotten nausea a few times but never thrown up. The doctor went fine just checked my blood pressure, heart rate, weight... it was all good. I have gain a few pounds since last visit but no biggie! The nurse said usually they dont try to hear the heart beat until after 12 weeks but that she would try since I was small. It took a few minutes and I didnt think she would find it but then THERE IT WAS... it kinda made me laugh. I got to hear it for a few seconds and then it was gone. The baby is way back by my back bone. She said the baby was moving around a lot. The doppler picked up the heart beat one more time but it wasnt strong enough for us to hear! At least it just found 1!! haha :)

I had a wonderful trip home. It was sad to leave. Here are some pictures I took in Fredericksburg! ENJOY!

HI!

Well Mark has been in Iraq for about a little over a week now. He is doing better and likes the guys that he is with. I dont know where exactly he is in Iraq and to be honest that I dont want to know. He says that the time is now going by faster which I know he is thankful for.
I am back at home for about a week and then I will go back to Fort Leonard Wood and the day after I get back I go to the doctor to hear the babies heart beat. Well that is all for now I will update more when I get back home. :)

Update!!

It is 6:02 pm August 20, 2008 and in Kuwait where Mark is it is 2:02 am August 21, 2008! He is 8 hours ahead. They arrived early Sunday morning (my time) and will be in Kuwait until Friday when they fly out to there designated locations in Iraq which are unknown to me at the moment. We have an idea of where he could go but it is still up in the air. He is doing good and adjusting as well as possible. The weather is HOT it has been about 113-114 every day. When I talked to him yesterday it was 4 in the morning and already in the upper 90's.
I am doing better now that I dont have to be stressed out about the computer issue. I feel good most of the time other than I am tired so things make me nausea but I havent thrown up yet (KNOCK ON WOOD). My next doctors appt. is Sept. 17th and when I go in they will do a full exam and then I will hopefully get to hear the baby's heart beat!!! I am excited! I am going to record it so I will put it on here if you can hear it! haha!!
Well that is the update on us right now. Thanks for the prayers and support. It will get us through the next few months!!

OUR STUFF IS HERE!!!

Finally our stuff has arrived from Texas!! It got here a couple days ago and it took the movers about a hour to unload it all. We set up the living room yesterday and I have a room full of boxes to unpack during the next few months!! :)

Coming back to Missouri!

We went back down to Texas for my sister's wedding and on the way home we took pictures of random things. Also as we were driving IN TEXAS we saw CAMELS!!! It was pretty cool!!

Ha Ha Tonka

This weekend we went to Ha Ha Tonka State Park. It is land that this man built this castle and then after he died it was turned into a hotel and then around 1940 it caught on fire so all that is left is the structure!! PRETTY COOL!! :)
